With all the crying about recent skill updates being bad and not what the community wanted, I have come up with some of my own ideas on how I think skills could be updated or balanced.

Mesmer

Accumulated Pain - This skill now causes instant death for the user as they relive all the arse whoppings they have ever had. Mesmer bomber for Jade Quarry anyone ?

Cry of Frustration - This skill will now cause all opponents to use the /pout emote and will end if opponents take any damage.

Illusion of Pain - Will now cause opponents to use the /laugh emote as they realize this pain didn't really happen. Ends if opponent takes any damage.

Necromancer -

Death Nova - Changed so skill can only effect dead things, flesh golems, undead creations, or characters with really really bad hygiene that might smell dead.

Insidious Parasite - Summons a giant mosquito which causes dazed condition by buzzing in opponents ears and uses life Siphon as an attack.

Mark of Pain - Now causes sign to appear on back of opponents armor which reads " Please Kick me ".

Elementalist

Searing Flames - Now summons a Giant fireball which can be hurled at a single opponent for 250 pts of damage, 50% chance of failure with fire magic below 16.

Mark of Rodgort - Name of skill effectively changed to " I'm going to BURN you good "

Winters Embrace - Now summons an ice golem which runs around giving hugs to all opponents in range while spamming " Give peace a chance ".

Give Peace a Chance - New monster skill which will effect everything in range with " pacifism " at double duration.

Assassin

Palm Strike - Skill now becomes disabled and user will take damage if they strike an opponent which is bigger then they are.

Shadow Form - User transforms into a ghostly apparition of Dhuun which is able to use all Scythe attacks simultaneously for it's first attack. After the first attack user is left with 1 life remaining and if slain is banished to the Underworld. User may not log on to or use that character for 24 hours afterward.

Shameful Fear - changed to elite hex spell, target creature or foe is hexed and quivers in fear unable to move for 20 - 30 seconds. No effect unless the target was leeching in a P vs P battle. If used in Ft Aspenwood or Jade Quarry the target will scream " hey look at me " until the hex removed.

These are just a few changes and balances we have come up with and my own test crew will continue to bring you updates once we have found a few more ale kegs to tap in to.

That's what the post was intended to do. The community could do with a little more of that and less of the typical replys and posts like the ones from Masmar and Evil Eye but sadly it's the vast majority of types of replies to many threads here on GURU. I'd expect something along those lines from about 95% of this community.

To the other 5% I found it pretty damn funny to make up
